Ode to my ankles

Day three with no ankles, not even ankle bones.

I wonder when they will rejoin the rest of my body?

4 more weeks, 4 more weeks, 4 more weeks. Give or take.

At least my wrist are still small.

Ragan's Birthday

Happy 31st Birthday sweet husband of mine!
You love us so well, and I can't wait for you to become a Daddy!
Love, Allie and Tucker

My one and only Mother's Day-To-Be

35 weeks on Mother's Day
I realized last Sunday that there are very few holidays that you can only experience once. Birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgivings happen every year...but when you are expecting you only get one "Mother's Day-to-be." My friend, Brittanie, sent me the sweetest card with a message that said, "Becoming a mom is one of the most amazing things that can happen to a woman." I have enjoyed the journey of being pregnant and can only imagine how much better life will be with a child. So, happy one week late Mothers and Mother's-to-be!

The Land Team Shower

My co-workers threw a shower for Baby Sawyer earlier this week. We had a fabulous pot-luck lunch with all my favorites and the best dessert EVER! They know that my favorite bakery is Blue Moon bakery in Cary!!
Chocolate cake with raspberry filling...yummy!

My co-workers at Dr. Land's office with Sawyer's new chair!
We already have it in the nursery by the bookshelf.

Double Date Night

Ragan's work hosted a night at the Durham Bulls, so we enjoyed a double date with Sarah and Ellis on NCAS! We ate dinner at the new Tobacco Road located at the Bulls stadium and then headed to our box seats for the game. The highlight of the night was RITA's water ice for dessert, and Friday night fireworks after the game. By the way, the Bulls won!!

No babysitter needed for our "first son." As most of you know, Tucker is thought of as our child. I often think about how he will react with Sawyer's arrival...I hope they become best buds, running around the back yard together, playing on the floor, chasing balls , and enjoy walks through our neighborhood.

Tucker boy!

Our weekend

Our first yard sale in the new neighborhood!

Baby Sawyer...33 weeks and 3 days

This is the pile of unsold items...looks like it will be
awhile before we have another yard sale.

Bathing suit season!
This afternoon Ragan and I went to the pool.
Our neighborhood pool opened this weekend and with
90+ degrees weather we enjoyed a little R&R poolside.
